[Properties]
White or offwhite powder, slight soluble in water and alcohol, its
aqueous solution is of weak alkality, soluble in hydrofluoric acid.
[Uses]
It is used as insecticide in agriculture industry, antiseptic in
wood industry and flux for metal in metallurgy industry. It is also
used in enamel and pharmaceutical industry, in steel filleting
process to reduce the melting point of filleting steel and improve
welding strength, as disinfectant in fermentation and chemical
reagent, as material to produce fluoride and cockroach medicine
powder, etc.
